How Purition keeps you physically & mentally energized
Tired of feeling sluggish? What you eat can mean the difference between rollercoaster energy levels vs feeling energised all day long. Whole foods take longer to digest than processed and refined foods and provide more consistent energy, for longer.
Here’s why Purition can help to support your energy levels and wave goodbye to irritating energy slumps.
1.WHOLE FOODS SUPPORT ENERGY
Made from whole foods
When it comes to energy, slow food is good food! Purition’s whole food ingredients are packed with fibre, protein and healthy fats, which digest over hours and release a gradual supply of energy over the course of the day.
2.FIBRE DRIP FEEDS ENERGY
High in soluble & insoluble fibre
Unlike sugar and starchy carbohydrates, fibre isn’t rapidly digested. Instead, it slowly travels to the gut (large intestine), mostly undigested, keeping you energized and satisfied for much longer and preventing dips in energy.
Fibre is fermented by the gut microbiota to produce short-chain fatty acids (SCFA). SCFAs provide valuable energy and can help to keep your energy levels stable.
3.FATS PROVIDE SUSTAINED ENERGY
10-12g healthy fats per serving
Purition contains mono- and poly-unsaturated fats, which delay digestion and lead to more sustained energy levels throughout the day. When you eat a meal that is low in simple carbs but has adequate amounts of healthy fats, your body is able to use the fats (free fatty acids) as an immediate yet sustained source of energy.
Purition also contains coconut, one of the richest natural sources of medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs), a type of fat that is more rapidly metabolised than other fats. MCTs are used by the body as a quick source of energy. Studies have shown that they may improve endurance in athletes.
4.BALANCES BLOOD SUGAR
Low in simple carbs & sugar
Simple carbs and processed foods that are high in sugar or starch digest quickly and cause blood sugar levels to rise rapidly. Your pancreas is then forced to release insulin to quickly shunt away the sugar from your blood, into your liver and muscles. Once the sugar is removed from your blood, you’ll feel hungrier and more exhausted than before.
For this reason, avoiding processed, carb-heavy foods can help you to achieve more sustained energy levels. Purition is low in simple carbs and sugar (typically under 3g sugar per serving), so has little to no impact on blood sugar.
5.MICRONUTRIENTS SUPPORT ENERGY
Rich in natural vitamins & minerals
These essential micronutrients not only support your general health, but also support energy and can help to reduce fatigue:
✔ B vitamins are involved in at least one and often in several steps of the energy production system within your cells.
✔ Iron & magnesium both play a vital role in energy production: they contribute to energy-yielding metabolism and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
✔ Copper & phosphorus contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism.
Purition simply makes it easier to be healthier and eat better.
One simple shake per day supports better long-term health and improved energy levels.

There's no one size fits all approach, which is why we offer tailored advice to suit your dietary requirements and lifestyle
"The fibre in Purition provides sustained energy levels throughout the day by helping keep blood sugar levels stable, while the healthy fats take longer to digest. This leads to increased satiety, reduced hunger and therefore reduced food intake - all these mean sustained energy, over a longer period of time. Ultimately, the best thing we can do for improved general health and wellbeing, but also for sustained energy levels, is to eat a healthy, balanced diet."
