Energy balls, protein balls, bliss balls... whatever you like to call them, there’s no denying that they’re great for a mid afternoon pick-me-up or when you just need a little something to get you to your next meal.

Our energy balls offer a healthier twist to conventional sugary treats, but let's not forget, they owe their sweetness to naturally sugary dried dates and apricots. While it's the "natural" kind, it's still sugar, so be mindful of this - especially if weight-loss is your goal.

Ingredients

  • 40g Purition Peach & Apricot
  • 1 cup of pitted dates
  • ⅓ cup soft dried apricots
  • 1 cup unsalted mixed nuts
  • 2 tbsp melted coconut oil or water (if needed)

  1. Soften the dates in boiled water for 5-10 mins
  2. Roughly chop the nuts and set aside
  3. Roughly and finely chop the dried apricots
  4. Drain and blend the dates to make a paste
  5. Add 40g Purition, chopped nuts and dried apricot & blend to combine
  6. Shape into balls and roll in chopped nuts, we used pistachios
